🚽 Cameron Enameled MAYFAIR 841EC 047 Review

This toilet seat has been sitting on its porcelain throne for over a year now. Our toilet seat cracked. I bought a new one but it won't stay in place - it dangled and unscrewed. I had to pull up until I couldn't anymore. Then I got this one and it's been solid from the day I installed it. I took off a star because it changed color. There is also superficial damage to the underside. Not quite sure what is causing this. Mine is black, if that matters.

I have no problem with this seat but my husband hates it. He explained that if you lean left or right to dry off, too much pressure is put on the holding part and it pops out. He said if he had four feet under him instead of just two in front he wouldn't have this problem. I didn't know it was only two, but I didn't know it was a problem for my family either. So if like me you wipe between your legs this will probably work for you, but if you wipe to the side you might want to look elsewhere.

I thought I'd take a chance and order from Revain Stock to save $5. Everything got broken. Part of the seat was wrapped in plastic and the plastic screws were already attached to the seat. Apparently someone used it, broke it and sent it back to Revane. The staff didn't even look at the damage before sending it to me. We rent so I really didn't want to spend too much on this project. All I knew was that I had to get rid of this disgusting place we had. I really liked the idea of the black seat and went for it. Everything arrived well packaged and undamaged. Also pretty easy. However, it looks like one of those super cheap plastic seats. I was also surprised at how easy the installation was. Excellent fit, very durable. I like the push feature so you can clean underneath (although I don't know if I'll be pushing it too often; seems like it could be harmful in the long run). It was pretty easy to install, except I was NOT able to snap off the bottom of one of the screw posts like it was supposed to.
