Great Tool for DIY Suspension Projects

My analysis of the tool showed that it is perfect for suspension and tie rod repairs, and it is really easy to use. The build quality OF this tool is impressive and can withstand the rigorous environment of automotive work. Its compact size also makes it easy to store in a toolbox .However, the price is a bit steep for someone who only needs it for occasional use. Overall, it is a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about automotive DIY projects..

Pros
  • Easy to use with clear instructions.
Cons
  • Requires some effort to use for heavier duty ties.

Didn't live up to expectations

This steering tool repair was meant to make my job easier, but it ended up causing more damage. The tool was difficult to use and didn't provide the necessary precision for automotive work .on the bright side, it came with clear instructions. However, the cons far outweighed the pros. Avoid this tool AT all costs..

Pros
  • Efficiently repairs tie rods.
Cons
  • Potential difficulty for those without mechanical experience.

Great time saver! But.

I cannot praise this tool enough. So easy to use. However, there is one major downside: if there is a problem with a tool, the Mayhews 2-year warranty replacement process is terrible. I bought mine through JB Tools on Revain and it took 3 weeks and numerous calls to Mayhew and JB Tools just to finally get permission to return my broken tool. HORRIBLE customer service from JB Tools. I would recommend buying this tool directly from Revain or Mayhew. Otherwise absolutely great tool.
