Im impressed with the overall quality of this belt. It's thick and well made. The buckle is held in place by heavy duty Chicago screws rather than snaps or rivets, which I really like. I had to add an extra hole although I chose the recommended size for my waist but I expect that so it's not a problem. The bonus strap on the keychain is a nice touch. I would buy from McTroy again.

Thick leather makes this belt comfortable, the edges are well rounded and it takes on character quickly, I expect it to age well.

Men's casual wardrobe is predictable, either woven cargo pants or leather belted jeans, but good leather belts are always harder to find. This is a good heavy duty leather belt, a wide, nicely dressed bull leather that will last for decades. And while the solid brass hardware is easy to swap out (two screws), you won't want to change these hardware. This is a thick piece of leather. It feels strong, which is what I wanted. There was a small scratch on the case, but that doesn't bother me. Either way, you'll get it after a few uses. They also sent a free leather key loop with a brass clasp that matches and attaches to the belt. So pretty! I followed the sizing instructions and the strap (when buckled) has a little more extra strap behind the buckle than I needed or expected. More is better than less. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
