Cheaply made for food storage

After half a day on the kitchen table with bread in it, the moisture in the bread deformed the thin bamboo so much that it came loose and fell apart! I had to tape the gorilla back with glue and clamp it in place. Now its back is deformed and the cutting board is also warped. It's a mature design (I really liked the glass front and the cutting board top idea), but it's very poorly executed. I'll make my own when I have time. When you buy, you buy glue. But honestly I wouldn't buy it.

We received a broken one, replaced it and the replacement arrived broken. Glue isn't the best.

We absolutely want to have this bread box. We ordered the first one which was accidentally peeled off while sitting on the counter (third picture). We assumed it was an accident and sent it back and requested a new one. Came a new one, and the three corners are not connected. For $30 I expect to get an entire lunch box. Not one that will fall apart on me. I really want that bread box. I love the design of this bread box. However, the quality is not very good. It's not very well done. And theโ€ฆ

Misleading product listing, not real bamboo, will ruin food

All sides of this bread bin are made from "sustainable bamboo" except for the bottom panel. The bottom panel is made from a thin chipboard/pressboard and smells of formaldehyde from the glue used to glue the wood together. What annoys me the most is that this fact has been removed from the product listing, otherwise I would not have bought it. During pregnancy I developed an increased sensitivity to the smells of pressed wood. This smell is unpleasant. Chemical, nausea, causes headache. Breadโ€ฆ
