Mecurate Digital Electronic Measures Degree Review

What good is a digital sensor that doesn't measure accurately? Or will it not calibrate true zero? I may have gotten a bad device based on other reviews, but without precision it's useless to me.

I've used it very little but it has its advantages over a bubble level. For example, if you have something that you need to build at 90 degrees from the object you want to add, that main body may not be perfectly level with respect to the ground. This allows you to "zero out" the gauge and make the next part exactly 90 degrees to the main part.

This is a very good goniometer and level. The display is clear and bright, and you can turn the beep on or off. The display can be switched to different readings such as degrees, inches/feet or cm and has a built in magnet that keeps it in place on magnetic surfaces. The device turns off after about 3 minutes of inactivity to save battery power.

I had the opportunity to use this sensor and it turned out to be very useful. In the past, to find the measure of an angle you had to guess, or at best it was close. Now with a digital angle sensor there is no guesswork and it is accurate. The ability to reset doubles its usefulness. In addition, the presence of a convenient carrying case allows you to wear the sensor on your belt. Overall I love this product and would recommend my friends to get their own.

I found the sensor to be extremely sensitive and show the direction it is not flat and the ability to temporarily null it on the surface to find the correct complementary angle. Too bad I didn't have a Mecurate digital angle gauge when I started my project, it would have saved me a lot of extra cutting to get the corners perfect! The size and convenience of the device. The protective case is a nice touch!

I am very happy with the digital protractor. I was really looking for something that would show me the angle on my table saw as my table saw scale is not that accurate. But I've found many other uses for it as well. And the fact that it's magnetic is an added bonus. I make wine racks and to make sure the metal tubes line up perfectly I can use this now. Delivery and support are always first class with Mecurate. This is a must in my opinion!

I recently installed some shelves in my garage and they are very useful too. I used it to measure the angle of the bracket, the flatness of the shelf, and the TV wall mount. My favorite part is the real-time leveling. The underside is magnetic and I was able to place the sensor on top of the rack mount and leave it on while using both hands to adjust each side of the rack. I have used this digital sensor before but ended up liking it a lot more. Contrast is very legible with no reflections (an issue with my last one) and this one was about as accurate as I'll ever need. At first I didn't know why the accuracy had dropped to 0.1 and the resolution to 0.05, but after using this I really like sneaking up on the exact right angle.
