Meguiar's G15800 Ultimate Black Trim Sponge - Achieve the Best Results with this Pack of 2! Review

Sponge was gray with white lotion, in contrast to the product image, which shows a black sponge. I was hoping this would blacken my faded sunroof rubber trim but nothing has changed. I thought it was some sort of black tint as the product image suggests. Gotta find something else.

well i think now my black trim on my 2002 express van and 2000 f150 is looking a little gray. so i got some of those. wow i was surprised. I'm happy with the difference! will get more. A notice. It takes more juice to coat the textured plastic. If you have a lot of it, you need more juice.

I recently bought this along with Meguiar's G15812 Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer - 12oz Bottle. I can't believe how well this worked. All of the black plastic parts on my Wranger turned light gray and this product worked better than anything I have ever used before. I highly recommend it. My Wrangler looks great!

These go very well with the black plastic bumpers and moldings on both of our cars. Each pad contains enough product for two sets of bumpers and fairings. Tried this on my 2001 Solara Convertible, unsatisfactory results. On the upper, a piece of black metal runs around the back of the upper, which is constantly exposed to the elements. I highly recommend these mequiar sponges, in a year I found the mequiar to be a great piece, I bought them in 2016 and only used them to black out the foot pegs and rear bumper they were so gray they were almost white, these sponges were more than enough for what i needed, the second barley i used.
