Product (according to other reviews) VERY sticky and difficult to handle but becomes more pliable when warmed in hands. However, after all this processing, it didn't look smooth and I couldn't use it for what I bought it for (fake nose for Halloween). Showed fingerprints from pushing and pulling into shape, as well as a "dirty" look from manipulating (although hands were clean!) Also not disguised with standard makeup - I might have bought theatrical makeup or something must? Wouldn't buy again

I do SFX makeup and Synwax is by far my favorite product. I prefer Mehron's wax to all others because I feel like you get more for your money. However, brushing is my least favorite part 😂 Wax is sometimes difficult to remove completely.

Got my wax, no film and rock hard! Wanted to return it and read other people complained about it! Like many people who let me see it on YouTube, Mehron demonstrates the consistency of this wax. Here it is! The pro takes the tool and she really has to dig into that hard wax and then heat it up in her hands and apply it to the model's hand! By the way, you need to prepare your hands so that it does not stick to your hands (a small piece of petroleum jelly) and it really turns out to be a dream…

My wax is dry and hard. I couldn't even use it. Not only that, it came with no instructions and/or information, just this little round jar stuck in the yellow UPS envelope. I am returning this product. I can't give an honest review of how it works because I haven't even been able to use it. If you want to buy this brand, buy from another seller!

I've always had trouble with liquid latex and was afraid to buy scar wax because I was told it was more difficult to use. It's not like that at all! When I realized that there is very little that can be achieved, it was easy for me to create an open wound on the back of my hand. My skin doesn't react to it like liquid latex or even cheap body paint. There's a reason Mehron is one of the top sellers in theatrical makeup.

Not very good quality wax. It was very sticky and hard. I couldn't soften it no matter what. I don't know if I have an old can or what. It stuck together when I tried to shape it. I bought it because it was the cheapest I've ever seen and needed very little to define my brows. Should have spent a little more. TIP: If you use this, the only thing that will help is petroleum jelly, taking it off or shaping it the way you want it.

So I've read tons of bad reviews about this product and although I had a hard time working with it at first, I've learned how to used it properly and I fell in love. The reason I say it's easy to use is because it's really easy to use once you learn the process. When the wax comes in it will be very hard. You'll need something metallic to get the wax out - I highly recommend spending a few bucks on a set of steel spatulas because not only will they help you get the wax out of the container…

I've upped this to 2 stars because the seller sent a replacement very quickly, but as far as the actual quality of the product goes, this stuff was VERY hard to use - basically like that Attempt to use it cold, a hard candle wax, and it was almost impossible to remove from skin with regular alcohol based tar remover and rubbing alcohol (which is the usual recommended method for removing modeling wax). Luckily I was able to find another way to do my makeup.

As described in previous reviews, it is difficult and you need a metal spatula to pull it out. I already had one and was ready. According to other reviews I warmed it up with my hands and was able to give it the look I wanted. Arrived very quickly with Prime. I used petroleum jelly to keep it from sticking to my hands and tools. Used alcohol gum to stick to skin. I would order again.
