Great Buy!: Accessories & Supplies

I am giving 5 stars because it is almost impossible to find printable CDs in my area. None of the major retailers sell them and they work great. You don't have to worry about smearing or smudging as long as they are handled properly. The price of this pack was pretty reasonable and hey, this is Memorex, a well known and trusted brand.

Pros
  • Superbly Made
Cons
  • Style 90

Printable CD-R Memorex

Good quality CD-R for the money. I recorded several MP3 files with no sound quality issues. The printing feature is also a plus if your printer can print images onto CDs. Photosmart D5160. All the CDs I've recorded have background photos and song titles with no smudges or blemishes. Definitely worth the price for 30 packs.

Memerx CDs with spinal recording function.

The product conforms to the description, it picks up very well. PS, we are sorry to hear that these items have been discontinued. Many Thanks.

Substitutions will not be accepted

When it comes to transferring music to CD, I find Memorex Music CDR to work best. Playable on all my devices compared to other brands I've tried, sometimes unreadable on some car or home audio devices.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • May cause injury

Great CD-Rs to print!

I've been using Memorex CD-Rs for printing for over a year now and they work great. They print easily with my Epson CD printer and the ink adheres well and dries quickly. I had no problems with ink smudging after drying. As for the "memorex log" stamp on every CD, I don't care. It's not my aim to make discs that look like they came from a print shop and it really doesn't matter if the logo is printed on the disc. (If you don't like it, buy something else). If you need a good, reliable CD-R…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine

Bad investment for accessories & consumables

Didn't work at all. Half of them weren't recorded at all, and the recorded ones didn't play on a separate CD player. I've converted over 200 tapes to CDs so I know what I'm going to do. They just don't match my gear. I'm sticking with HP Gold CD-Rs. Everyone was reliable.

They burn well but print like rubbish

This is the second pack I have bought in about 3 months, the first pack had the printable surface up to the center sleeve and had a silver backing. The silver backing allowed for printing up to the center with no noticeable color difference. The latest pack has a completely different print finish and a clear disc around the case. This new coating produces a dull, slightly fuzzy print and the area around the hub appears much darker than the rest of the disc. I'll look around for another brand.

Pros
  • CD-Rs
Cons
  • Something else

This time I am not satisfied with these CDs

I was disappointed with this pack of blank CDs. I've been buying this brand for years and always enjoy using them, but this time they kept saying insert a different disc when I tried to burn. I thought maybe they were DVDs so I tried one of these in a friend's DVD burner and the disc just wouldn't work. Maybe it was a defect. Sorry I tried at least 8 and threw them all away. I hope the next albums they will have will be as great as they were before this pack. Most of my music and image…
