Melon advertises this hat as their deepest, but it landed a solid inch above my ears, which is a deal breaker. My fitted hat size is 7.5”, so my head isn’t enormous, but this "deep”hat didn’t even come close to being deep enough. I love everything else about the hat and really wanted this to be worth the VERY steep price, and it seems like it would be if the crown was high enough, but it simply does not fit as advertised. Awesome fitting hat. I bought 2 one for work one for play. Hat got smashed in a weak box during shipping so it was a little deformed. I’m still working in reshaping it.Expensive hat but the quality reflects the price.

Pros:Fit.Fit is comfortable and it doesn't ride too high on my head, and I have a pretty big head (7 3/8 fitted)Materials.Can definitely tell the hat is made with good materials. It really proves that not all hats are created equal.Colors.Colors are exactly how they look online and I like how they have a bunch of different color options to choose from.Cons:Price.I don't believe that this hat is worth $59 (pre tax). I'm no professional, but I feel like it should be more around the $40-$45 range.

Am just writing a review since when I came to read them I was skeptical but pulled the plug and did it anyways. Glad I did! They fixed whatever issue they had where some reviews say they came smooshed. Hat was in perfect condition. My husband loves this hat. I read a lot of reviews on here about these hats showing up crushed, but mine showed up today in a cardboard box completely unscathed.The product and presentation were both top notch. The construction of this hat is like no other I’ve ever experienced. Melon is definitely worth the price tag. Will be buying more!

I was a bit hesitant because of the price, but after reading/watching reviews I pulled the trigger and bought the XL Trenches. And so far this hat is the best hat I’ve ever owned. Very comfortable and the quality is amazing. My wife liked it so much that I ordered one for her as well(and she’s not a hat person). Highly recommend!

I consider myself pretty versatile with hats I can get away with wearing, this one just doesn’t work for me though. The front sewn style makes my head look huge. Too bad bc it is a nicely made great looking hat.

The product and fit is great overall. The fabric coloring on the black camo, not so much. The product photographs are deceiving and the hat I received looks discolored. They should rename it - purplish brown camouflage. Like it’s been through several rough days at the beach and the salt water has eaten the black away. I’ll prob return and swap for another color. I like Melin hats, just not this colorway.

Great hats. Great company. However, do NOT order these hats on Best Buy with any other order. They throw everything in the same box which results in damaged, dented, creased hats.

$60 for a hat and this is how it shows up? It’s permanently damaged. Can get the lines out of it and it’s all crinkled up on the hate even when I try and pop everything out.Giving it a 3 star. The hat looks good and is comfortable! But shopping a $60 hat like that is ridiculous.

Ended up returning the product, hat is made of nice material but cannot justify the price. You can easily get the same quality out of a dri-fit or hurley phantom hat for half the price. Wanted to like the unique look of it but the front was just too wide at the top making it look bulky which led me to sending it back.Edit: Just for buyer awareness you can find this hat on alibaba for under $10, they just stamp their logo on it and upsell it like crazy.
