Multi Color Melissa & Doug Butterfly Activity Review

Great project for kids. I bought this for a project for my 5 year old and 3 year old grandchildren. I thought it was a paint project but they were "stained glass" plastic stickers. Even better! The "stickers" were quite bulky and easy to apply to the outlined locations. It's easy for kids to follow. I really liked that the kit includes a hanging cord and a hook on the suction cup. Will definitely buy again.

We loved it so much my 5 year old was able to do it on his own and it was so lovely when it was finished. The only problem is that the stickers don't stick well. (They tell you so and offer some craft glue if you have any problems). Ours had been kicking on the couch for several days so we lost some of the stickers on the couch cover. All in all a very good craft, but perhaps plan to put a small amount of glue at each point when assembling.

My 6 year old and I had a lot of fun building. The stickers are designed so that you just take them off the paper and put them in the holder. It also looks very nice, like the painted version, but with a lot less clutter. This mom was very happy about it! The only problem is that the glue doesn't stick well to the stickers. I bought this to have on hand when my grandkids come to visit. My 14 year old granddaughter assembled it about a month ago while she was here. I had to convince her that it wouldn't be too difficult as she seemed confident that she had NO artistic skills and would mess things up somehow. It turned out beautiful! It was easy enough for an age much younger than her, but it requires some fine motor skills and strength to lay the "stained glass" pieces into small sections and press down on the ends

I bought this as a gift for our daughter from a local store and we loved it so much I ordered another one online to give her friend for her birthday!
