📚 Melissa & Doug Children's Book Tower - Natural Play Little Learning Books Review

They are cute. The problem is my 9 month old granddaughter puts them in her mouth (of course) and the saliva seeps through the cardboard. I would choose laminated or other foils on the sides if I could do it again.

I found it a really lovely product and bought it for my granddaughter. Dad brought him back not because there was anything wrong with him, but because he was a bit "young" to her. I didn't realize how advanced her skills were. If you are 1-2 years old that would be ideal. My granddaughter will be 3 soon and he thinks it's not hard enough for her.

I bought these books as a Christmas present for my son who was 13 months old at the time. At first he didn't pay them much attention, but he also had a lot of new gifts at once. After about a month he started to really empathize with these books and now he loves them! We often read them at his changing table because they are perfect for him to hold while I change his diaper. Another great toy from Melissa & Doug. I actually bought two versions of these little books and both were hits.

The 10 books in this set are small and thick with only a few pages each. They are the perfect size for small hands and short attention spans. 1 or 2 books easily fit in a purse or diaper bag. There are only one or two words on each page, making it easier to remember the words associated with each picture. The topics of the books are varied, so the child has more choices and is less bored. We have all four Melissa & Doug Natural Play Book Tower sets. The tower itself isn't useful except for nice marketing, so we're not keeping them in the "tower". I really liked this box of books. I will say it. they are "natural". which I like, but that definitely means they're not covered in plastic at all, so judging by their look and feel, they might not last that long. This also means that the colors don't stand out as much. since it is the natural background color, not white. But I'm not really complaining, just pointing it out because those were minor disappointments in her looks; which are compensated by more natural qualities. The box is cute…
