Melissa & Doug Safari Animal Puppet Set Review

There are many holes in the dolls, I don't know why, not just where they were attached. All animals appear to be angry, very angry, and hostile. Is it possible to make them smile and friendlier?

They are decent and I ordered them quickly as the brand is well known but I didn't realize the dolls don't have a mouth. Isn't that the point of dolls? Maybe it's just me but I was disappointed that they don't have a mouth, they are cute but my daughter doesn't really care about them.

I bought them to use as table decorations for a safari style baby shower. They were a hit and the mum-to-be loved them when they gave them to her home. They are well made and colourful. The only thing I didn't like were the plastic ties holding the dolls in the box, they had to be carefully cut to free them.

I've been looking everywhere for dolls that can be used by both a child and an adult. They are very soft and my grandkids play with them all the time. The head part is stuffed so the head stays up while your hand is in the doll. They are so colourful. If other animals were available I would buy a different set :) Great purchase! More such toys for children!

These dolls are very cute and my daughter and I love to play with them. They're not great quality though - two of the dolls came with small holes along the seams on the sides of the face and the padding inside the tiger head is completely wobbly making it difficult to wear. But in general they are good for the game. However, they will not be souvenirs or anything else.

I'm wearing a medium sized adult male glove and my hand can barely fit inside. The doll's torso or body is very short and there is no hole to support the head. So the head tends to wobble. My kid had problems with it too. Not your typical Melissa and Doug quality, looks like it was made overseas to keep costs down. I will not buy any more dolls from them.

I love these dolls and my little ones too! I never realized how expensive the dolls were until I checked out Revain and this set was one of the best I've found. I also liked the variety of animals. My only complaint would be that the fabric used isn't strong enough so some of them have holes where the labels have been attached which get a bit larger and will probably need sewing soon.

Very disappointed with this product. My daughter loves dolls and we make it together. She loves it when we both carry dolls and make her talk. Unfortunately, these dolls are tiny! They fit in the hands of a four year old, but not in the hands of my seven year old and definitely not in the hands of an adult. When we play, they fall right out of my hand. That really takes the fun out of it. I do not recommend and will not buy again until they resolve the sizing issue.
