Peekaboo Soft Activity Baby Book by Melissa & Doug Review

These soft books from Melissa and Doug are always a hit! It is washable and easy to clean. The colors are bright. My kids enjoy looking at the pages. The Peek a Bo theme is really cute and puts a smile on my little one's face.

My niece loves hide and seek and books so I thought she would love it but she had very little interest having seemed impatient at first. In my opinion the book is too flexible and frustrating. Not as nice in practice as it seems when looking at it online.

Our baby (under 6 months) loves to touch and taste books and flip through the pages. Cloth books are great for all of this. Faces are the most interesting to look at, even animal faces. And apparently felt bear paws are the tastiest. It's good quality and it's machine washable and we'd do it again but it should last for years.

I like the size of the children's book and the cute characters, but I wish the book had a clasp/velcro. When you hold a book it seems to burst in all directions and the peek-a-boo hands are distorted. The clasp helps keep it looking neater when not in use. Bought because I really like that it's washable, especially for a baby who drools!

Really like this book! It's big but not too big. All the animals are kinda noisy - rustling etc but that's not disturbing. Seriously, I can't get enough of this book! My 2 year old loves it as much as my 8 month old. And my 4 year old loves to read it to them. I'm surprised I didn't see my teen or 9 year old with him 🤣 Melissa and Doug must be the best toy makers!
