The only filters we buy are

Although our coffee maker has a fixed filter basket, we prefer to use unbleached Melitta filters to make emptying the coffee grounds easier. They are the best and the price matches the quality.

How could I start the day without him?

I boil water, grind beans, put a #4 filter in a plastic filter, pour coffee into a #4 filter, pour boiling water into a #4 filter and into or two minutes I'm a morning person again, small talk and even presentable in public. That's how it goes day after day.

Pros
  • Consistent results in testing
Cons
  • Not bad

Fake or very poor quality control?

I've been using these Melitta filters for years. When I took out the first one, I immediately noticed how thin it was. I compared it to a used one that was still in the filter basket of the coffee maker and it was definitely thinner. Then I compared the boxes, the new box was also thinner. Hard to believe someone can fake coffee filters!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Use them in the coffee ninja

Use them in the ninja coffee brewing system so we don't have to clean the filter screen every day. Works great, the paper is strong enough to withstand brewing. A tip: when setting up your coffee maker to make coffee the next morning, make sure the inside of the machine is completely dry before inserting the filter and coffee. The paper won't survive the night if it's wet.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

SOLVE SOME QUESTIONS!

Yes. You will receive (3) individual boxes of (100) for a total of (300) Melitta coffee filters. My first reason to buy them was that I hate taking apart those crumpled paper filters ESPECIALLY when I need coffee. Now after comparing the TASTE as mentioned in many other reviews I can actually tell a difference even with a brand name or a famous brand coffee. I even went back to the paper filter to make a few cups for comparison. They're just better in every way.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Nothing here

Got 3 packs of 100 to use up

I think after these filters I'll go back to using the white ones instead. There's nothing wrong with them, they work well and the quality seems good. Coffee time is my favorite time and I love the smell of coffee and the taste I enjoy but I can smell the filter. Yes, it seems so. Why? I do not know. To me, it's the smell of a paper bag. How would you like to drink coffee through a paper bag? Now you know. At first I was afraid this would be the case, but I decided to just see when you have more

Great coffee filter!

I used to only use this filter the way my mum used it until I ran out of stock and bought a cheaper alternative at my local supermarket. cheaper filters (twin because they were too thin). I realized there was a reason my mom only ever used these filters. The hot water doesn't flow through the filter too quickly leaving very weak coffee - instead it filters at a sufficient rate that the coffee I get is quite dark and strong. I bought this multipack because it was cheaper than buying it. It's at…

Pros
  • Fine aroma enhancing holes to filter out all the flavor of the coffee
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

UPDATE: Available to order again

Used probably around 1000 pieces since I first found them many years ago. I have NEVER had a blowout EVEN and have not found them to be faulty or cause a bad taste. They remain solid even when removed for disposal after the brewing process is complete. Great product that I can fully recommend. UPDATE AFTER 1 YEAR: Well I am ordering my FOURTH order of these 3 packs of filters. In the past year, I haven't experienced the first runaway, off taste, or manufacturing defect using these filters…

It is worth buying just a coffee filter.

I'm very skeptical about my coffee. I don't like coffee shop brands, especially Starbucks. I find their coffee tastes burnt and almost not worth the price you pay. My best coffee is made at home. I don't use exotic methods, just a simple drip method. I use a Ninja drip coffee maker, which seems to maintain the proper brewing temperature around 202 degrees Fahrenheit. I only buy pre-roasted coffee beans and grind them for each serving. My coffee brand is Brazilian Yellow Bourbon, which I only…
