💿 Memorex 4.7GB/16x DVD-R 10-Pack in Slim Case Review

I have bought this recording medium before and will buy it again. I've never had a problem with it, whether I'm recording my system safe or old movies that were recorded via cable, it's always good quality and if you shop around you can find a price that makes it a bargain too

They are great. Every year a long-distance friend and I make copies of some movies or series that we really like and that we think others will enjoy. I bought them to make a DVD to send to him for Christmas. They were better than I could get at the store, worked well, picked up quickly, and all worked flawlessly when he played them. Can't beat it can it?

This is a good quality DVD-R if you record movies. I have a friend who records movies for me and the quality of the other DVDs he uses is not always good. They come out very clear, as if you bought the original DVD or saw it at the cinema. I don't even have a HD TV, plasma or even a flat screen and I can honestly say that it all shows up well on my "old" TV.

My 2 Macs optical drives are sensitive to disc quality. Problems with Memorex and Sony. Literally no problem. These Memorex DVD-R discs were 70% unreadable, 7 out of 10. I don't trust the other 3. Verbatim dvd-r discs from the office stock are 10% cheaper, all right. Memorex was quick, polite and sent replacement discs in a different DVD+R format. I will only use them if ALL are readable.

I bought this DVD-R because I need to create recovery media for my new laptop (which requires 6 discs). Everything goes fine initially, until I burned the 5th disc it accidentally stopped. I took the disc out and took a good look at it and noticed that there was a huge dead zone right where the burner had stopped working.
