After unpacking, the charging station remained in charging mode with no consistency in all 4 slots. It doesn't matter if there were sleeves on the controllers or not. Without exaggeration. Sometimes the light flickers red but I have to keep moving the batteries to find the perfect spot only to turn blue again a few seconds later. We all have our cases/moving pros/nun cartridges on ALL our controllers and no matter how much you spend on rechargeable batteries it's a pain to take all of those off things to change. So it was a great alternative, nothing to disconnect/take apart or plug in!
