I don't know why these things have such long pant legs, they go several inches below my knee without rolling up. Other than that I love the design and comfort.

Everything was great except for the belt buckle, it comes apart to easy and one of them the stich came apart. That's my review.

My husband is more lean and 6'4". He always has trouble finding shorts long enough to get to and/or cover his knees, which he prefers, and so we took a shot with these shorts. They are such a great fit! Great quality, true to size, and has a lot of options. We bought 5 pairs and will certainly buy more after what I would only assume after normal wear and tear. They are good shorts, except for the drawstring around each of the pant legs that tickle your legs. It's annoying. That's my feedback.

Go below knee. Has draw string to tighten the bottom of legs. Rarely wear shorts except as pajamas, Different fabric from union bays long pants. Jury is on till I wear them enough. Wanted something I can use at rec.

They seem to me made to "sag" as the waist and hips r the same diameter but just get them a size small and u cant tell the the difference

Great quality material, Love the look, but a bit snug around the waist, I feel like it should be adjustable or elastic waist

I read some reviews about the fabric being flimsy and ripping down seam. However this is true, the short did last me over a year of use, and for the price, it was no problem for me to replace with a new if not couple of pairs.

These arent bad shorts. a tad longer than I'd like. Material is thinner than I would expect and those front pockets though?! Barely fit in em. I've got average sized hands and its tough to fit

Fit is great all around aside from the length of the shorts. I knew in advance that the inseam was of a longer length, and no, I didn't measure so that's on me. But woah. these are some loooong bois. I'm 6'1" and these shorts stopped about four inches below my knee. They also taper a bit, so they end up looking more like clam diggers than shorts. Size ordered fit me correctly. 100% cotton material is a good choice for hot weather, unlike polyester blends which can be sticky feeling. Zipper could be a little smoother in operation. Plenty of pockets.

I simply was hiking and they ripped as I was going up small hill.Ordered in past no problems not sure if quality changed. Thanks for attention!

I've been wearing these pants for many years, just bought a replacement pair with same size, but it was clearly wrong, even though the tag showed my size. Sure enough, reordered the same size again , but this time it fit!

Button is sewn in cheap buttons. I immediately through the belt that comes with it away. Cargo pocket is massive far to large for being on shorts.

I used to love these shorts because they are so damn comfy, but these were not, no stretch at all n kinda stiff feeling n small pockets. I love cargo shorts but these are not for me

It's OK, the cotton could be a little thicker, and the belt is poor quality. That is when I tighten the belt, the whole buckle will twist. So I have to undo it and tighten the belt again being careful not to let it twist. I just need a new belt.

I bought three pairs for my son who is 6 foot 11 inches. These fit him just above the knee. It’s a nice option for tall guys. We count off the ties at the bottom as he like the straight fit.

I purchased a Unionbay messenger short 2 years ago at Macys. Impressed by the fit and comfort, I wanted another pair. Although no longer available, I found the Cordova Belted Messenger Cargo Short available on Best Buy. Priced very competitively, these shorts are light weight and very comfortable for summer wear. At 6' 5" 215 lbs., the size 36 fits comfortably at the hips and reach slightly below the knee. The ripstop material provides for a light weight yet sturdy pair of shorts.

I always enjoy cargo pant and these are a bit different lots and lots of pockets. They fit a little bigger than they are supposed to but still good to have. Only issue is the belt. Its really a crappy belt that gets mangleed in a way. If you sit down, the belt "buckler" turns to the side and is difficult to loosen but aside from that I enjoy them. They fit below the knee so if you plan in bike riding, they will be a bit unfortable. Over all 4 out of 5 stars for me.
