Men'S Slim Fit Wool Blend Herringbone Tweed Waistcoat Vest Review

I tried this waistcoat in Khaki, Army Green and Coffee.Sizing: the sizing on these waistcoats was what I found the most off. I usually wear a 48R jacket, and so, per the sizing recommendations for this vest, I choose an XXL. The XXL fit nicely though the chest but the 5th button down (2nd button from the bottom) is just a bit snug. I REALLY wanted to love this vest. The colors are awesome. The material is surprisingly nice (can’t tell it’s not 100% wool). Overall, the craftsmanship is darn good, but as you can see in the pics, plaid pattern matching is off, especially near the lower armhole and pocket areas. At first I thought I might try to order another one and see if it’s a isolated issue, but both vests I bought (in different plaid colors) exhibit the same lack of pattern alignment. I'm an XXL guy, on the bigger size. I wear a size 40 pants and XXL shirts with room, XXL is usually a little baggy. This vest, even in XXL would NOT fit. When they say it's a slim fit, they really mean slim, but I purchased this vest for a wedding (groomsman, so I had no other option) and I had to take it a local seamstress to add approx. 4" to each side for it to fit. So, make sure to pay attention to the size guide and measure! Aside from that, VERY high quality, I loved it.

Ideal for winter or colder and windy places. The vest is thick, not ideal for southern or warm climates. Really anything above 60°F.

The vest looks great but its just a bit tighter than I was expecting it still fits a little tighter than expected. But that says more about me than the vest, just need to lose a bit of weight and itll fit just right.

This fits much better than expected. Well made and nicely finished. Tweed back and quality product. No complaints and lots of compliments. Great value for a quality product. I will buy this again in other colours.

This is my 2nd vest from the same company. I'm 6ft 3 and 270lbs so if your close to this stature I suggest 3XL. Overall a good fit. If your shirt is exposed on the bottom make sure your shirt is tucked in good and don't be afraid to tighten up your belt a bit.

Originally gave one star because it never showed up and was disappointed. But was refunded my money. It unexpectedly still arrived and is a solid vest! It fit well! I’m 6’ 190lb medium build and large did the trick! I would buy another one.

I’m 5’10”. 183 lbs. I wear 44R suit jacket and sport coat. 38 in waist. 16 1/2 inch shirt neck. Getting that out of the way. I normally wear an XL. I ordered this vest in an extra large, XL. This vest is not true to size if you are not slim. I wear XL to XXL shirts/coats/etc. I bought the XXL first and I couldn’t even button it. Bought the 3X and had to have it altered and let out to get it to fit. Once that was done it was a very nice vest. Feels like it was made of quality fabric.

I really wanted this vest but when it arrived it was so small it wouldn’t fit my Granddaughter let alone me. I went with one size over recommended and it was so small I couldn’t get it on. No size label on it so I think they sent me a medium. Really want that vest. I think the quality was great.

Another wrote "runs small", I took this for fact, and ordered up a size. Chest 47.5, back 22". Ordered 2XL perfect fit; room to adjust back buckle/sash. An XL would have been a sausage casing.

Handsome vest; looks more expensive than it is; well made and if I was slender, it would fit perfectly. It runs small (I imagine slim fit); I’m able to wear it and people say it looks great on me, but I feel it quite snug. I’m picky AF abt this and tried many here. Most of them are worse than they look in the listings with dubious materials, false descriptions, and atrocious "tailoring” — all of which amounts something along the lines of a 90s salvation arm cheap suit your mom cut the sleeves off of for you.
