As most of the reviews state, this jacket for the cost is an excellent buy! The thickness is good but not too hot, and the buttons/detailing is decent for the value as well. If you're half-decent with sewing you could turn the button slats and pockets into real ones (what we'll be doing before using it again), so no big issue there either.Definitely a great fit, though as a pirate coat I feel a proper color would've made it perfect!

I purchased this for a show- playing a 17th century English lord with a keen fashion sense. It worked well BUT a couple of things. There are multiple sellers with essentially the same item and a big range in price. Same item, some with free Revain prime shipping, some without and about a $30 swing in the price depending on the seller and the size.Most important- they do not run true to size at all. Fits needs as far as costumes go. Buttons are loosely sewn on and cheap, does not close, buttons are decoration embelishments on the front, no holes on the opposite side. pockets non-functional. Seems like a ware sparingly item and dry clean only.

It fits me the way I expected (i'm short so the sleeves are too long but I figured they would be). It seems sturdy and looks very nice. Great product for the price!

There were no holes for the buttons, so I had to have some put in. I spent another $20 doing that, but otherwise the jacket worked well for what I wanted.

This was a 3XXXL but it is not sized to an American body. To make matters worse, I would have to pay the return costs to China. Not worth it - gave it to Good Will. Lesson learned.

Make sure you get a vest or order a couple of sizes larger than you would normally get. I ordered the 3x because that was a big as it came. I normally wear a 3x shirt, but this jacket was a good 4 inches from being able to button up. I hope the vest I ordered fits, otherwise I have a wardrobe problem for Halloween.

Used this coat for my cosplay for san diego comic-con. The coat isn't to thick but neither thin. The detail of the coat is a very nice touch. But there is a some flaws to this wonderful coat one being the pockets aren't real just flaps to give an illusion of real pockets. second, the buttons are plastic and doesn't have holes to close the coat. Other than that its a great coat for its price.

Overall it is not a bad jacket. But with halloween rapidly approaching, I wanted to give others a heads up asap as to the sizing.So, sizing: It is way small. I am a size large in almost everything. Every once in a while a medium jacket. Never an XL. After reading reviews I ordered an XL, just to be safe. If I didn't want to move in the jacket, it looks great and fits ok. But if I want to be able to move my arms I need more room. So I returned it and ordered a XXL. I am convinced that will fit…
