Men'S Steampunk Vintage Tailcoat Jacket | Gothic Victorian Frock Coat Uniform Halloween Costume Review

I bought this as part of a fancy plague doctor costume. It's definitely sized for men, I am female, 5'5" and weigh 170, usually wear a women's size 14, and this is a bit too big, could easily have gone a size smaller. Better material than I expected, very comfortable. Might add some stitching to the buttons just to reinforce, but very happy with it, and it will be used in other costumes later.

I was a bit worried about this purchase. Buying sight unseen is always a gamble. However, this jacket is really well done. The stitching is really phenomenal and a great overall piece! Great purchase.

You might want to spice up your own look with it but as a centerpiece it works grate. The designs look awesome. Thanks for attention.

Ordered a medium. Fits like a large or extra large. it's definitely red.not burgundy as advertised.had to change my costume from a vampire to a dark circus ringmaster. no at all what's being advertised

I'm 6'2" and 210 lbs. The XL fit, but was tight on my back/ shoulders. Ok I guess if you're looking for a neat look, but I need to be able to layer for an outside party/ bonfire and this just ain't gonna work. Happy with the materials and construction quality otherwise, hopefully the next size up works out.

The jacket was well made for the price. Watch out if you are very tall or long waisted as the best section is short. The tailcoat design may not suit everyone's body type and may only look flattering on certain individuals!

Got this for my daughter for a sweet 16 with circus theme. Had to have it altered because it was big on her but we figured that would be the case since it’s a man’s size. Authentic, fun, well-made and a hit!

I had high hopes for this jacket but when I received it it was not the deep purple in the picture nor was it as tailored as it appears. In the pic it looks like it is two distinct pieces (coat/vest) - yes I know it is one piece. But what I recieved was a single piece just different color/design. Very disappointing.

The product is very nice the only problem was for its price I say it was a little cheaply made it had buttons on it that seem to tear off and just not really all perfect but the look was nice and it was comfortable just easy to tear

This was used as a costume and fit my 5'11", 125lb child very well in a Medium. It's thin, but looks good on. Didn’t like the quality of the jacket!

Great fit and worked well for completing the pirate captain outfit for Halloween. Record many complements on the jacket. Ordered size small for my husband and it fit as expected.

My husband is 6’ 5” and is typically a 2x, we ordered a 3x after reading the reviews. Unfortunately it still looked like he tried on a normal large size jacket. The arms were also very short (so much so I may have laughed). Disappointed it did not fit for his costume. It was also this velvety like material that did not keep its form. Big men beware, this probably won’t fit you.

I read the other reviews and they say to order 2 sizes larger, big mistake. I normally wear a large and I ordered a XXL and it absolutely swallows me. I should have ordered the size that I normally wear. Overall its a fun piece, but definitely a Halloween costume piece

It's comfortable and looks great! Not made of cheap fabric, but instead feels nice. Everything seems to be put together well.Overall, I really like it!

The coat gave me the opportunity to build the perfect Steampunk Rebel Captain costume. AND it was a hit. The jacket's fit may not be suitable for all body types, making it hard for some people to find the right size!

The arms are obnoxiously long and narrow - what lanky, starved people are you sizing this for? Buttons are cheap plastic, one popped right off when trying to simply unbutton it. Will be returning which is unfortunate because I absolutely love the design on it.

I ordered large to ensure the jacket wasn't too small; a medium would have fit better. The coat worked with the lace shirt to create a French look for a Gala. The jacket was comfortable for dancing in the outdoor New England setting.

The jacket and vest fit great. We ordered a size up because a muscle suit was worn underneath to make Beast a little bulkier. My son is 5'10, with long arms and legs, but very thin. We got the Medium size Adult, and with the muscle suit it was perfect. It's a little stretchy. The vest looked great too. He might wear it again for James Norrington from Pirates.
