I just moved from the city to the country. My road running coaches just couldn't handle the muddy trails I was now on. I'm new to trail running and didn't know what to look for but this is a great price for a decent shoe. The grip of the tread is excellent and I now run much more confidently in muddy areas. I always struggle with shoe sizes and find that 10.5 always fits best, but not all manufacturers fit these half sizes. These fit great.

Well I never thought I would be writing this about Merrell shoes but I can't believe how quickly they started to lose ground. The back of the heel started to fail after less than 200km and after taping it up to cover the exposed blister sites, they went to the bin at about 350km. While they were ok in terms of comfort, nothing special compared to other trail runners I've had.

Bought to walk the dog. They are very light and comfortable, especially if you have wide feet. These aren't the nicest shoes I've ever owned. A big disadvantage is that they are useless when wet! Not only are they not waterproof at all, they slide like crazy on wet surfaces. Walked during self isolation and found it very handy. Third pair I bought. I have to say that this pair creaks a bit, which was not the case with the others. However, this may resolve itself over time. Fixed the previously mentioned creaking. Due to the use of insoles!

The eyelet for the laces broke the second time I put them on. But they fit great and were comfortable when I first put them on. The company was absolutely wonderful with refunding my money.

The shoes are ok but the lace on the left boot came undone after 20 socks. I need 2 pairs of spare laces! I've bought 3 pairs of Merrill hiking boots over the past few years and they all fit flat laces. This round type pair is not durable at all.

A little stiff, not much toe room and heel to toe feels massive. But well done. If there was more toe room and no drop this would be a really good shoe. I ran 3 x 10 miles in it and my arches hurt at 5 miles. maybe because the shoes restrict my feet in their natural movement? I will not buy again.

Bought these shoes for hiking in Mammut and was immediately impressed. This was my first pair of Merrells and I will definitely buy them again and recommend them to everyone. Very comfortable, very durable, very happy with them. Please note that I did not walk in it, just walked.

After 5 months, the material wears out at the back. Otherwise it's a great running shoe. Nice and light. However, it is cold here in winter and you can do without the slightest amount of water.

I'm a serious runner. These trails are awesome. So comfortable. Really good on uneven rocky surfaces and just as good on wet mud/grass. Also on the road and back absolutely normal. Highly recommended

The best Merrill shoes I have ever worn. I have had plantar fasciitis for over 2 years and this shoe along with my liners have changed everything. No other Merrill shoe or brand has performed as well. I tried a lot. They are not waterproof, which makes them very breathable.

I was very happy at first, but after 4 months of indiscriminate use, there were tears on both shoes in the same place. i'm not happy anymore

I always buy my Merrell shoes from my husband, this particular pair didn't last very long, after a few months holes appeared on the front from the fingers.

I have several pairs of light-soled Merrell shoes, mostly low-top sneakers and casual shoes. They stand sportier, lean you a bit forward and give you more suspension. I'm not a runner but I think it would be good. The mesh body is fairly thin and well ventilated, so I think they're best in warm weather and not great in mud or wet, which is a bit odd given their purpose. The shoe is very successful in terms of look and feel. Unfortunately, after 9 months of daily use, it tore at the crease in the forefoot area. In addition, it quickly went wrong/worn out and became unusable as a result. sorry

I've always loved Merrill sneakers. I had an earlier Merrill that was worn out. This was the high top version. It's time to take another one, but this time I chose a low top. They are very comfortable and with the Vibram sole perfect for hiking or off-roading, which is what I use mine for.

I cannot praise them highly enough. For the price you can't go wrong; comfortable, sturdy, fairly light and feels like a tractor tire on each leg. They let a lot of air into the shoe, wick water away, and tie your laces until you're done with your run. Great shoes for trail running/cross country running.
