Not very comfortable.

I used to have a 6.5 average. Not as much toe room as expected. Slightly uncomfortable at the top of the shoe. I expected more comfortable shoes from Merrill. I wanted to be able to wear them all day in the summer. Can only be worn for a few hours.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • minor problems

Too small, I would take a size up.

Still too small even if it's half the size. Barely wearable without socks, although stretching the elastic strap at the back of the heel helps a bit. Also, the insole doesn't dry very well and tends to be a bit sticky. Have Sharp and love her a lot more.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Upgradable

Annoying design flaw

Pros: Very good construction with Vibram rubber sole is a staple in our home. My feet blister easily and I don't want to risk the Merrell blister mark on my foot. Adding to this problem, the arch of the foot was in an uncomfortable position and the toe box was too small. I am definitely disappointed with this purchase and will be back.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Very expensive

Happy feet for women

I love these shoes, they're great for walking, cycling, talking. But I was in the park on vacation, it was raining, the ground was concrete, and these shoes are damn slippery, so no, they didn't touch the ground. I don't seem to have a problem walking on rocks, but I do on a wet concrete pavilion. I slipped and sprained my knee. So be careful on the concrete. These shoes feel slippery for some reason other than can't complain. I still live in them except when I go to bed

Pros
  • There's something there
Cons
  • There's a flaw

Protective, supportive, comfortable and cute!

Very happy with these Merrells! I've always been a passionate girl, but I started looking for something more protective for river tubing. I have a lump on my right foot that was visible through the cut outs of KEEN Newports. In this exposed area by the river, I always get wounded. These Merrells offer more protection, comfort and lightness than KEEN. My bursitis is not visible on the right side of these shoes - WIN! These shoes are instantly comfortable and very stylish. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • May cause injury

High quality and incredibly cute!

I usually wear Keens, but this Merrell caught my eye during testing. They are of very high quality. The design feels solid but not bulky. Rather, the design is actually cute and dainty. I plan to wear them as sandals in addition to rowing. Arch support is less than the typical Keen but still adequate for moderate activities. This seller is also commendable. The first pair I ordered was defective. The return was free and hassle free and a replacement was sent immediately. And did I mention how…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Comfortable and great fit.

My husband and I bought this particular model and both agreed that the men's and women's shoes were better than we expected. I bought this shoe, my first water shoe for an upcoming trip to New England. It's comfortable and supportive and will hopefully offer great grip and protection on river/stream bottoms. What I like is that the heel and ankle area doesn't seem to rub and is also adjustable. I have a thinner heel/ankle but my metatarsus and ball of foot are normal. So I can have a custom…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • For seniors

Comfortable and durable shoes

I bought these shoes for canoeing and hiking. I often had to be in the water with them for several days. They dried quickly and were very comfortable. They also did well on the hiking trail and on uneven ground. Note: I have an ankle injury and need to wear the brace on uneven ground. I could wear a corset with shoes. I slip a lot when hiking and even on slippery rocks in the water these shoes hardly slip under my feet. I planned on switching to other shoes for hiking and at the end of the day…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other
