Extremely beautiful measuring tools. The marks are embossed, not printed, where they can be damaged or even removed by some solvents. I bought this to have in my office where I often try to measure something to order or fix something. It's accurate and easy to read. This is a measurement from the end ruler. instead of a plastic ruler that had to be moved from the end. I remembered my dad had one growing up that was always on his desk with a cork on the back. Before buying I studied many lines on Revain. I was specifically looking for one that measures right off the edge and there haven't been many options for those that do. This one does. I specifically use it in my garage/shop to finish things and then measure from there. It's not that easy with rulers that have an empty "buffer space" at the ends.
