Wasn't what I expected

I intended to use this as part of a backsplash behind my range, but once applied it definitely looked like someone took a roll of wrapping paper and glued it to the wall. It looked bad, so I ripped it down.I understand this is meant to put over appliances and the like, so I was not using it for the intended purpose and I acknowledge this. It may or may not look nicer when used as intended, but for my means, it looked cheap and ugly. I will have to find another purpose for the remainder of this…

Great for adding layer of protection.

I am using this on top of my refrigerator to prevent dust and oil build up on the surface. Easier to clean. The adhesive paper film vinyl may not adhere well to certain materials, such as wood or porous surfaces!

Looks metallic best in my review

Actually haven't used this product as yet. however, the appearance is quite good. the paper itself is thick. it looks metallic. I believe it will go on well.

Pros
  • Easy to use, looks great and far less expensive way to match appliances vs buy a new one

Contact paper is great for many things.

Takes a bit of skill to get it on good. Take your time and it will look fine. Use plastic body-putty scraper to smooth and it will not damage.metal can damage, and credit card can scratch.

Dishwasher best in my review

I bought this to put on my dishwasher, to match our new appliances. It sticks ok till you get to a bend, it has been coming up on the bottom. But it does look ok.

Changed the whole look

This turned my black dishwasher into stainless without having to replace the dishwasher. It was a little tricky to install but with a little patience it looks great.

  • The adhesive is so strong that it can be difficult to remove without leaving sticky residue on the surface it was applied to

Very heavy duty. Looks great but I cannot use it as planned. It is almost too heavy duty. Would be great on dishwasher or backsplash. I was trying to cover a range hood.

Not an easy process

It bubbled up after a few weeks, and was much harder to apply than I anticipated due to it rolling back up during application.

Beautiful look. Very heavy weight. I was going to use it to cover my ugly countertop but i found it difficult to work with in this manner.Great for other projects.Also the adhesive is very strong. No room for errors when applying

Love this! for my opinion

Made my dishwasher look like new. I also like that it can now be used as a dry erase board. Now I'm looking for other things to cover. This is so much fun!

Not user friendly for my opinion

Tried to apply to my fridge after watching several videos. Very not user friendly! It looked so fake. I'd rather just deal with my black fridge

Can't beat the price and the look if you can get it down wrinkle free!

This product is a little tricky to install especially if the surface is vertical. However once you get it on wrinkle free it looks just like brushed stainless!

Came with a dent on it.

Not very happy with this product. I love this went on real smoothlooks great put on top of cabinet to look like a counter! I wanted to try out for my kitchen area but I wouldn't buy this again.

Better for smaller projects

This film paper was not suited for the project I had in mind. It was very thin and delicate. I intended to use it behind my stove as a backsplash. However, for my project, this item did not work and I opted to dispose in the trash.

this looked like foil on the outside of the built-in oven, pulled it off and threw it away, kept the oven black.and the first roll was creased throughout the whole roll, seller got in touch but never did anything, no refund, nothing, told them I had ordered a 2nd roll bc it looked as if it looked like chrome or stainless and I was going to use for them to just refund that order, nothing, nada, never heard from again.2nd roll that I thought was okay, it had creases in it also, this is the roll I
