Did my job! in automotive and automotive electronics

The plastic end was slightly smaller than the original so it didn't fit as tightly into the stereo jack; I had to use a zipper to secure it in place. Overall, the product did what it was intended to do.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Best match for Ford in automotive and automotive electronics

Wanted to upgrade the stock AM/FM radio on the 04 f150 to the newer on the 08 so I could add an extra connector cheaply but the antenna connector was different than a regular banana plug and it worked great.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Not the best

Didn't fit my 2009 Mustang Shaker 500 radio

I bought it for the price. The end of the Chrysler connector was not properly assembled and not fixed. After several attempts to force the connector, I almost ruined the spark end of the connection. At that moment he went in the trash. Went to Best Buy and bought another Metra 40-CR20 for triple the price and it worked great. I think you really do get what you pay for. I do not recommend this product as it may be defective.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Perfect and fast delivery!

Perfect fit and fast delivery. Many people have given this article a low rating because they obviously can't read. This adapter is included with a standard radio that has a snap-on antenna. I used it to connect to a Chrysler RAQ radio from a 2007 Dodge Durango. I had a cheaper version of this jack and over time the signal to my stereo became so weak it was almost impossible to pick up radio stations at all. Ordered and installed in minutes and my AM/FM reception was good and strong again.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Secret

Works great in my app!

A friend gave me an original AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio from his 2008 Ford F150. Assembled a 12V DC case and bought a standard aftermarket car stereo antenna. When assembling it, I noticed that Ford uses a special antenna connector. I ordered this adapter from Revain with delivery in 2 days. The adapter works like a master! The radio picks up at least 10 more stations than the radio in my car (note that more stations are not related to the adapter but to demonstrate that there is little or no signal…

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

It was cheap, so you get one star.

Problem: No radio due to a defective Chrysler factory antenna for reconciliation (Really Chrysler!?!). This plastic insert is different from the factory and will not fit the Jeep Liberty 06 radio. The antenna insert pulled out when I tried to remove it from the radio, very cheap. Still no radio. Had to go to a local place and get a replacement for triple the price or there was no radio for the trip. It has been found that when attempting to fit this adapter the plug on the radio has now been…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
