worked for me from DC

The bottom part on mine broke so I used it and it fit perfectly and came with a radio cable. But the antenna is garbage, it bends and doesn't come back. So I unscrewed and used my old one which was still like new, the (upper silver part) threading was the same. 1993 Toyota Pickup 2 Door 4x4. standard cab. 4 cyl.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Long delivery time

and since I hadn't found one locally, it looked good. Screwed straight into

That was on my 1994 Toyota pickup. Someone actually stole mine so I did something nobody else has done. Bought. Now I didn't need the whole block, but the price and the fact that I couldn't find it locally made it attractive. Screwed in straight away and the radio works like clockwork. Thanks for that. I thought I would never find it. Very happy.

Pros
  • dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Not the best

The antenna itself is of reasonably good quality

The antenna itself is of fairly good quality. But it doesn't go very well with the 1999 (3rd gen) 4runner. The problem is with the wing. The antenna would be forced to tilt rather than straight up. For a 3rd gen 4Runner I wouldn't buy this again. I would give it 1 star unless it doesn't specifically say it's for 3rd gen, so I wasn't really hoping it was.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not for everyone

Fits and works perfectly in my 2000 Toyota Tacoma (so far).

My 2000 Toyota Tacoma was missing an antenna. The existing frame is quite torn but I didn't have time to replace the whole block. I managed to unscrew the new antenna from the new frame and just screw it into the original thread. The radio reception has become perfect. Later I can complete the installation properly and come back and update this review.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Safety

Great antenna replacement for 1996 Toyota Tacoma.

Great antenna replacement for my 1996 Toyota Tacoma. The factory antenna was broken at the base and someone before me tried to remove it. The base was too badly damaged to remove or repair. I bought several other antennas that ended up having to be returned. Toyota's fender has a step down so the other antenna didn't fit. This replacement fits just right, with no mods.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Direct Fit on audio and video accessories

Direct Fit in a 1994 Toyota pickup. It's not the product's fault but I didn't want to bother getting a cable to my stereo when all that happened was a broken plastic grommet. So I cut the old wire and the new wire and connected them with solder and heat shrink tubing. I'm sure I lost a few dB of signal in the process, but I still have good coverage in my city. That is 1000 times better than no antenna at all.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Works fine on my 1985 Toyota pickup.

Matches my 1985 Toyota pickup very well. I noticed that the antenna is an inch longer than my factory antenna (maybe Toyota didn't design it, right?). The angle is perfect for the truck and the cable gland was . almost too small. I lubricated it with silicon grease but had to make another tool. I cut a 3" notch down the length of a 1/2" section of PVC pipe, just big enough for the cable to pass through. I lined up the end with the gasket and hit the other end with a fatal blow. Overall I'mโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

3D with Zoom here - Audio & Video Accessories

This is a complete replacement antenna unit. And offered at a competitive price to guarantee a complete replacement of your antenna assembly, even if only the mast is broken or missing. And I assume this will get the job done as expected. if it fits your car! The shaft was too long to fit in the Toyota pickup's fender and the mounting sleeve was the wrong angle and size. Some of the items I've bought from Revain Auto say "this will fit your car". Only to find that the list does not containโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good stuff

  • Mostly good but...

1998 3RD GENERATION 4RUNNER EVALUATION - NOT PERFECT PREP - BUT WORKS

I have a 1998 4Runner and found this antenna replacement that Revain says will fit, so ordered it I. Well, in the package that came it says it's suitable for 89-95 years! So crap, but my electric antenna is broken so I decided to give it a try anyway. It "fits" but not as an OEM. Luckily all the screws and bolts line up which would otherwise be a deal breaker but where it doesn't fit is the plastic/rubber fit where it connects to the fender. It's slightly offset, the spacing at the top allowing

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues
