Very happy with the reception

Works exactly as advertised. I had to buy longer bolts as my RV's side panel is thicker than the length of the bolt that came with it. Very happy with the reception.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Improved FM reception.

Works very well on my van. Improved entertainment system reception thanks to the factory-installed universal antenna. My only downside was that the flexible mast was already bending a lot on reception.

This is a good antenna at a very good price

Good antenna at a very good price. I had to replace an old one in my old RV and it works great and isn't difficult to install. The flexible mast is a big improvement over the original mast which was metal and bent easily.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Protection

The antenna is sufficient. The problem is where the antenna is screwed to the base. Both parts are made of hard plastic and break easily. I broke one and ordered another to replace it. The manufacturer could get a very good product if they fix this defect. I would pay double the price if the antenna was upgraded. Reception is very good, but I held my breath and hoped it wouldn't break again. I couldn't find anything else on the market with the features I needed or I wouldn't have bought a…

An "old " RV antenna used with 2 pieces of an old antenna

Well here we are talking about an obsolete RV part that works and installs in a few minutes with parts swapping can be. I bought it for a 1998 Sunline Solaris. It uses the exact same mounting holes. To connect it to my antenna cable I had to replace 2 parts from my old antennas. The ball mount for the mast (antenna pole) needs to be toggled and the end bolt with rivets that goes right over the ball mount. The reason I had to swap the 2 parts is that the bolt diameter on the new antenna is a…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not everything fits
