The screw holes were a little small but they were only drilled to make it easier to install the speakers and this is on the dashboard. Otherwise great and worth the price.

Matches my speakers perfectly! Everything came together perfectly as you can see in my photos. Exactly what I needed to install my 4x6 front speakers in my Jeep.

Fits perfectly on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Be sure to keep the original mounting screws for attachment, but screws are included to attach the speaker to the adapter. Ease of installation.

Used these to install a kicker 4x6 kit on my 99 TJ. They fit fairly well and are very easy to install, but they're plastic and a little flimsy - we'll see how they hold up over time. metal would be better. Overall 4/5 stars.

Great deal if you are upgrading or upgrading new speakers in your Jeep TJ dash I replaced the stock 4x6s with new Kicker 4x6s and I needed them as the stock speakers have an extended bracket To the stock mounting points they seem ok in plastic but would probably be better in metal as adapters are made in different sizes but they fit and work!

Firstly, Metra will either a) lose money on every sale or b) raise the price to make up for the endless variety of bolts and washers each could have would be a necessity. If you have a Jeep and you don't have these things, you are doing it wrong. Second, the huge holes everyone is complaining about are on the speaker frame, not the adapter. I have used mounting adapters in my 2006 jeep wrangler tj and it is easy to mount the speakers to the adapters with the screws provided. All mounting holes are perfectly aligned with Jeep front speaker trays. I used a jbl 4x6 but found the kickers and rockford fosgate still match the holes on the adapter and have similar universal mounting plates.

Definitely did what I bought it for, put new speakers in my jeep tj but it's definitely one of those things you get what you pay for. Very cheap and thin plastic. I literally thought I was going to break it due to the intense pressure on each screw. The supplied screws are too big for the threaded holes, so little effort was required. If I knew what this product is I would just make adapters out of plywood.

It's not a terrible product, my low score is due to some of the holes not matching up and the fact that I spent hours could spend doing the same. printed on a 3D printer. I thought it was metal. The screws are also a bit too big for plastic. I thought I would break the plastic when I twisted them in. All in all, the job was done. Please note that it fits very well when an aftermarket cage is installed that attaches to the dashboard.
