Ok but overpriced. for automotive and automotive electronics

I only needed a double DIN trim ring, no side clips, to connect two single DINs together. The overlay ring got the job done, and the knurling on the back made it easy to attach. All in all, $15 seems a bit high for a black plastic 1/8 inch piece.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • I don't remember

Finishing touches for automotive electronics accessories

The Metra mounting kit helped me finally install my Kenwood DoubleDin. It's easy to work with and cut, the only problem is finding the right type of glue to attach it to the dash hole as there were no locking tabs to hold it in place. I used double sided foam pads left over from installing a Garmin GPS navigator and cut into thin pieces.

Pros
  • Automotive electronics accessories
Cons
  • Available in white only

Not suitable for double DIN.

I knew I would cut this to fit my RV dashboard. I replaced the rear camera monitor with a flat panel and then installed that part in the old cutout for that old CRT monitor to switch to a two din car gaming system in a more ergonomic location. I didn't expect to have to properly size the cutout for a double din system. I had to cut at least 1/8" from both sides for the system to fit. Not worth the price when I could get 3 kydex wraps for the same price. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Auto & Automotive Electronics
Cons
  • Legacy Model
