My daughter is 9 years old, she really liked the gift. The size is great for beginners. She has just started to learn, wooden boards are strong, smooth and sturdier with beautiful patterns. every day and put it in your bedroom. Come with a tool kit, it is convincing for the adjustment. It is worth buying.

Bought for my 14 year old daughter. She's a beginner so this was the perfect board for the price and quality. The wheels can be tightened if needed to get started or loosened once you get the hang of it. She rides it a lot and tries out tricks. Her dad (6'3" - 295 lbs) gave her an ollie and she held up great. I don't think she could do it again and again but she persevered. This is a great board for a beginner!

Highly recommended for beginners! It comes with a tool to adjust the tracks if you like it looser for tricks or tighter for beginners. It moves very smoothly and the trucks don't suck. The underside design is also very cute, but what makes it stand out are the wheels - they light up and shimmer with colors as you move. This is my personal favorite because it's so much fun to look at and photograph at dusk! Oh! And it comes with a small pouch to store or carry your tools and/or board.

UPDATE: I spoke to the skateboarder and he knew what to do to fix the problem I was having below. I obviously can't skate. But now it rolls straight!
