My daughter was very happy to finally get it. When it arrived the packaging was fine and the carrying case and tools felt good. But that was the end of the excitement for me as a father. Upon inspection, I noticed that one entire side of the board was diverging and powder was pouring out of the crack. I thought hmm. strange, but I'm handy and can finish gluing, which I did. After clamping the board until the glue set, my daughter aligned the carts and wheels and set off on her dream. She trained for a full two hours with breaks until she was exhausted. Then I saw that the other side of the board was doing the same. I'm a bit disappointed at this point, but figured it must have been a Friday at the factory. I fixed the other side and it was off again. After doing a few ollies, she started picking it up. Then she tried another and rose two inches off the ground, and when she landed she broke in half in the middle of the board. My daughter is 12 and weighs 90 pounds! I'm not happy about losing $45 only to see her emotions go from super excited to insanely inactive for two days. I'm not trying to hate the company at all. I feel like maybe I'm just a loser who caught a bad board. Take what you will from this, but if this is a first time for an excited youngster I can use my story as a precaution.
