Actually, I was looking for a shoulder bag big enough to carry my towel, bath and shower essentials to the gym. This bag is good enough to be carried as a wallet, with a few small compartments and a sturdy adjustable strap. I filled it with lots of beach vacation toiletries and it was great. It looks so pretty that I was afraid to leave it on my sun lounger while swimming as it could easily be mistaken for a wallet etc.

It has a couple of standard zipped pockets as well as 2 small open pockets inside, but it's basically one large main compartment with nice lining making it a light interior. It has a zipper that goes almost, but not quite, to the bottom of each side of the bag. I love this bag! The material is good. The strap lies comfortably on the shoulders. I'm 5ft 4cm and if you pull it all the way out it goes past my butt. Nice mustard color inside. I'm glad it's not black inside, otherwise it looks like a black hole and impossible to find anything.
