Material beige burlap/synthetic. Please note that this is a cover only, so you will also need a pillow insert. All in all it's nice. I haven't washed it so I don't know how it will hold up. The zipper pull tab is tiny, which is good so you can't see it.

This is the perfect cushion cover for outdoor activities at a great price! Not very soft but the fabric is quite hydrophobic so water just rolls off and doesn't get absorbed. This is a nice addition to our outdoor seating as we need cushions to sit comfortably on our sofa/patio. I ordered 16x16 and I had the same insert and the plumpness was perfect.
