One of the standout features of the Epson L3100 is its front-mounted ink refills. This innovative design allows for easy access to refill ink tanks, saving you time and effort. The Key Lock refill system ensures that each ink container has a unique shape of the spout, making it suitable for only one filling hole. With its innovative features, cost-effective ink system, and versatile applications, the Epson L3100 sets a new standard for printers in its category.
The Epson L3100 is a next-generation 3-in-1 printer, scanner, and copier with front-mounted ink refills, ink tanks with a built-in spill valve, and an advanced Key Lock refill system. The process of replenishing ink tanks has become even more convenient - containers of different colors have a different shape of the spout for refilling, suitable for only one filling hole according to the principle of a key with a lock. New generation ink containers are equipped with a special built-in valve that protects against accidental spillage. When the container is inserted into the refill port, the valve opens and ink begins to flow into the printing system. As soon as you take the container out of the filling hole, the valve closes and the ink remains inside, even if the container is upside down. Ink containers cost 2.5 times less than similar cartridges, while the ink in the containers is 10 times more than in the cartridges. Don''t limit yourself to printing, with Epson Print Factory you get more ink for less money. Epson L3100 prints not only black and white and color documents (with graphics), but also does an excellent job of printing photos up to A4 size. Genuine Epson Micro Piezo ink and advanced print head deliver vibrant colors and crisp detail in photos, both bordered and borderless (edge printing).
- Scannable in a good and timely manner, free of stripes and other artifacts The quality of the printing is quite good, and there is photo printing available in 10x15, 13x18, and 15x21, which is really convenient.
- Brought it to the office to use it permanently, but I'm not entirely satisfied with it. Consumes more fuel than an elephant, whereas the other two printers, the L355 and the L312, only needed to be refueled once every three weeks, or even once a month. And this one needs to have its supply renewed once a week. The act of refueling is a different story. If you print not with the original paint, but with analogues, then regular bottles will not function; instead, you will need to devise a solution and refill with a syringe (see photo) This beast gets cleaned with amazing regularity, after around 10 sheets of consecutive printing and numerous times a day in between. The most significant drawback is a photocopy. After 10-15 consecutive copies, the speed slows down to that of a snail, and it takes anything from two to three minutes to photocopy a single sheet. After roughly 500 sheets, the rollers started to make that creaking sound. And this is happening in a printer that is almost brand new. After then, the blue nozzle became clogged, which resulted in the image becoming smeared.
- Cost, together with a compact design.
- It is necessary to do nozzle inspection (also known as cleaning the print head parts) more frequently than is ideal.
- Compact, high-quality printer with fast black-and-white copying speeds.
- Expensive Using the duplex manually Quite loud A PC can't be connected by cable. Wireless Internet access and automatic two-sided printing are both within budget.
- Refilling that is economical, compact, and inexpensive
