MICA USB Powered Computer Speakers PB20I Review

The MICA USB powered speakers quickly blew me away with their clear and vibrant sound quality. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice with audio equipment, I was able to fully appreciate the depth and range of sounds that these speakers provide. They are incredibly easy to set up, taking only a minute or two to plug in and start using, and I appreciate the sleek design that easily fits into any office or workspace. This is the worst speaker I have ever heard. When you turn it on and go above 20% volume, you start getting terrible hissing and hissing. It only gets louder if you try to crank the volume up to around 50% or higher. I've tried multiple settings, multiple ports, and multiple devices with the same result. Now I know why they are 80% cheaper than comparable speakers. Avoid like the plague.

These speakers are exceptional for the price. The quality is good for small desktop speakers. If you want solid speakers that you won't turn on and use without an AV system, IE over Computer is a really good option. They also work well as satellite speakers (I use them for this purpose). Whether you want to listen to music, play games, or watch TV, they'll do just fine - again for the price.
