Good cable for cables and connections

This is a good cable and it works. We use it to splice tapes to an HDV deck, it's nice to have a 10ft length if you're working with a laptop, it gives you freedom of movement.

Arrived quickly. Works as it should.

This 15ft cable allows me to position my camcorder farther from my laptop for a better viewing angle. Both ends of the cable fit snugly into camcorder and laptop ports (tighter than my other FireWire cable, which is good for me). The cable arrived quickly. There was a strong plastic smell upon opening the package, but that smell quickly dissipated.

Complete nonsense! in cables and connections

Does NOT work! After the replacement, the cable is not a real FW 800 compatible cable! The first caused my computer to freeze constantly as soon as I plugged in my device. The second never showed my device! That must mean the cable sucks. You get what you pay for!

Inexpensive - works as advertised

The cable arrived on time and worked as advertised. This is a 9-pin FireWire cable with a 6-pin connector. This is an economical quality with a molded end. Its price is not and will not be the same as Mogami's. For what it is it deserves 5 stars.

You get what you pay for

This cable is poorly made. After about a month of use, the cable insulation on one end began to separate from the connector. Keep in mind that this cable stayed stationary for the most part during use and I never tugged on the cable to disconnect it.
