🐠 Enhance Your Aquarium's Hygiene with Microbe-Lift Gravel and Substrate Cleaner Review

I've tried other products and nothing has helped clear sludge from my 3 tanks but all I needed was a dose of microbe lift and it was almost no mud left. Another dose two weeks later and my tanks are completely clear!

It may be a very good product but I only used it once because the water in my tank turned brown for a few days. I might try again when I know I don't have any guests (yes, it looked that bad) because I love the idea of an easy, eco-friendly way to clean the bottom of the aquarium.

I read the reviews on it and some weren't great but I went ahead and ordered thinking they weren't using it properly. After using this amount, my aquarium became brownish and cloudy. I wasn't worried. A week later the water was still cloudy and discolored so I changed the water and cleaned the bottom of the tank. I recently bought this as I have previously used WOW from Petsolutions and this product has been discontinued. I wish I had known that earlier. The microbe lift gravel cleaner works great. As other reviewers have said, when you first add it to your aquarium it looks like ink and makes your water look very dark. I bought this unit hoping it would work as advertised but it turned out to be a lot worse than I imagined. The bottle says it will "discolor your water for 48-96 hours," but it's been a week and a half now and it's getting worse. It's in a 55 gallon live plant tank that I've had since 1994. I have never been more concerned about the ecology of my aquarium than since adding this product. The tank turned rusty brown as soon as I added the product and I expected it.
