The bottom of the slipper detaches from the rest of the slipper so you can just throw it in the washing machine. Most importantly, the Velcro is on the entire bottom of the slipper. I enjoyed these 3 days. then I put them in the wash and they are fully bloomed! I was about to ask for an exchange but my daughter threw them away without knowing. The 3 days I had them I loved them and really noticed a difference in the pet hair on my hardwood floors. I liked them so much I ordered a similar replacement pair, hopefully the next pair will hold up better in the wash!

Slippers really do what they are supposed to do and they are comfortable. I bought a few of these for my guests to wear around the house as well. (I try to keep the floors clean). Slippers need to be washed frequently and I have found that after about the 4th wash they are no longer as fluffy and beautiful. I figured I'd always replace them when they wear out because they really are a fun way to get the dirt/dust off the floor even when there are a lot of people in the house.
