Didn't work for me I downloaded the program and all I had to do so I sent it back but then again it looked very good I would have kept it if it was that would have worked

Just download Cheese, go to settings and select the camera (in my case I have a webcam plus microscope). He needs a better base if you're going to work with him.

So I didn't work long. There is no optical zoom. And to say it's set to 1000x is a joke. Even if he didn't die right out of the box, he doesn't do what the description says. He comes back. You get what you pay for.

I love this microscope! I am a pest control technician and it is very important to identify the insect in order to deal with it properly. This is an absolute game changer! I would like to give him 10 stars because he absolutely deserves it!

It says it works on Android but I had problems with mine but I don't know maybe it's just compatibility with the phone. Everything worked on my Asus tablet. Glooptics.net was not very helpful. Make sure you download cameraapk. File. This is how I figured out how to get it working on my tablet

Very cool. Pretty impressive for under $20. Had to download a third party app to make it work on my phone. The guide only shows how to set it up on a computer. That's the only reason I didn't give five stars. Attached to my review is a photo of a ballpoint pen taken at the highest possible magnification.

The camera works with Windows 10 but only after playing with the files on the CD and running random programs to see which one opens the camera. It doesn't work with Android phones above Android 10. Other than that, it works fine on my computer. It was under $20 so can't say I was expecting much but for what you pay for you get a decent return.

Good, clear, high resolution image with proper focus. The mound is cheap, making it difficult to focus and zoom. I use it to check the edge of sharpened knives and it works well for that. I'll probably build a jig to keep it in fixed focus and fixed zoom, which will do for me. Just note that if you're buying the camera for something else, the included mount is made of lightweight plastic.

The instructions and user guides are pretty much useless to get this scope working either on my laptop or android. The user guide is rather vague, as is the guide on the included driver CD. The laptop didn't load any drivers so as another buyer said it ended up and got a third party app for my phone and it connected straight away. The zoom buttons and images don't work, but I just need to see things up close, so that's fine with me. I would give it 5 stars if it actually installed and worked as

The manual is out of date. Found that there are problems with Windows 10. Launched, but the program still doesn't work on the second (and more) operation. Due to the lack of support, more skill than "plug and play" is required. The GLOptics.net website (just downloading what's on the minidisk that came with the product, not the latest drivers) doesn't help, and GLOptics.com isn't for products. Cheap is cheap in this case and you get what you pay for. This will work, but it will take a long time
