Microsoft Xbox 360 HDMI Game System Console with 60GB Storage Review

I bought this to replace my unit which unfortunately was the victim of a liquid spill on the power supply causing the Ana chip to burn out resulting in no HDMI output led (AV output still works, but picture quality is poor). ) It arrived on time, with 1 controller, power supply and AV cables and hard drive. He was in better shape than mine. Which was very well taken care of. Very happy with my purchase so far, will update if things change in the near future.

It was described as an HDMI console - that was a lie. While it's still high definition (by definition, pardon the pun) with component cables, it has NO HDMI output. Also, the bezel was missing a small pin behind the button that enables syncing for the wireless controllers. So I had to remove it to sync while waiting for a new faceplate - another $20 on top of the price. It is clear that there was no quality check of the device.

This gaming system should have been thrown in the trash. The game disc door will not open. And I found burglary marks on the door where it had been pried open a couple of times prior to the purchase. When you open the door and insert a disc, a very loud grinding noise comes out of the machine. The cables that came with the kit didn't hook it, I borrowed my son's cable which is identical to the one in the kit and connected it to the TV with my son's cable. It was a real divorce.

Of all the things I've bought from Revain over the years, I've never been so disappointed. This console came with a Viva Piñata BS faceplate, but that's not a problem if it's working, is it? Let me start by saying that due to the wildly mixed reviews of used 360s on Revain I decided to buy from Warehouse Deals expecting it to have to go back, then at least it will be easier. Console arrived in excellent condition. I've seen a lot of photos of damaged consoles that don't work, dirty consoles, consoles with a red bell and so on. My experience is nothing like that. The Xbox is in very good condition, the worst I can see of it is that the bezel and bottom vent cap are (technically correct) a bit loose. So it was probably cleaned before shipping. The console is also incredibly clean. There's really only one disappointment, it's not with the original component cables…
