Works great as described

This product works great. While it does require some soldering to work as the motherboard in the Xbox only works with the original circuit board in the original drive (they are "married"), the soldering was straightforward and I was up and running with my Xbox within 30 minutes of opening it repair the new drive. Well done Nextek.

Best price, easy install

It was an easy install but I had to change the motherboard from the original Xbox. The motherboard was simple, works great, great product and great price.

However, the DVD driver was great. I'm not the one who works on motherboards.

The screwdriver was useless for the job, it didn't fit any of the screws that had to be removed and replaced. However, the DVD driver was great. I'm not one to deal with motherboards and I'm not even sure what it's called, but after I bought a cheap Sauder kit and replaced the old one with a new one, the Xbox 360 worked perfectly. So if you break the DVD driver on your 360, it will take a bit of effort on your part to replace it, and you'll get a screwdriver that might come in handy in a future
