Before I bought a kit to use O2 bottles for wort aeration I built one using an aquarium pump, this filter, a 2 micron carbonation stone and 1 tube /4".1/4" PVC fits snugly into barbed fittings for a tight, clamp-free connection.

Allegedly "sanitary filter". However, it is not pre-sterilized (comes in a zip-lock pouch) and does not have a filter size listed on it. There is also no indication of what the body material is and whether it can be autoclaved (steam sterilized). So ideally you should have a 0.2 micron mesh PTFE vent filter to prevent microbial contamination of the gas or vent line to ensure "sanitation". Highlighting the word "sanitary" on the filter doesn't make it so.

I am using an air pollution filter for a project that requires clean air. So far the item is working great. ALSO I just noticed that the price today has gone down drastically it was 7.50 now 4.50 so I assume this seller is responding to other reviews try to find another product that does the same job as this one on this site a needle nose pliers and put them in the pipe NOT the filter filter ok not perfect i know but it works.
