Not as good as the old versions I had. It looks like they cheated on a felt-like material that the pile also sticks to. A little disappointed in Miele. Spring.

When my wife compared her new upholstery tool to her old one, the new tool wasn't quite as good as the original. After using the new one, I was happy with the result.

Arrived quickly. Same excellent quality as the original. I wanted a second one to clean "clean" things so the old one could be used for dirtier places like the basement and garage.

Don't rub that padding! I used this for two hours and the red felt strips didn't come off as other people have reported. Increase the vacuum folks, but don't push so hard!

I'm really excited! I got a new Miele cylinder vacuum for my birthday, but our bathrooms are small and the normal floor nozzle didn't fit in the room. I want to use an existing bathroom floor upholstery tool so I thought I'd buy a second one. The price was great; It is EXACTLY what came with my vacuum cleaner. And now I can vacuum small spaces in my bathroom too!

Miele has redesigned the upholstery tool and made it unusable. As you can see from the photos, the original version had a convex felt brush that made direct contact with the fabric to be vacuumed and quite respectably removed things, even pet hair, from the upholstery fabric. This new design features a flat felt area that sits well below the molded black plastic so it is no longer in contact with the item being vacuumed, preventing pet hair from lifting off the upholstery fabric.
