Bought for winter camping and dog sledding. The plastic inner layer has worn off a bit after a few rides. Velcro and straps seem durable so far. The fleece only covers half of the inner lining, but they're still warm and help keep the snow in my boots without having to wear full winter pants. I had to go back and try on the size 3 times to get the right pair, despite measuring myself beforehand.

Really just waterproof leggings. I was expecting a little more fleece, but it's basically just a fluffy canvas. Not critical, but something to be aware of. Fits good. I'm 6ft 1in, 270, my boots are medium and fit Columbia snowshoes and they are perfect for the max size. If I had padded snow pants, they probably wouldn't be big enough, so my tall buddies have my calves at an 18. If you're over that, keep buying. I haven't used it yet, I'll let you know.

Most of the time it will be enough to get to and from the subway, but if it snows or he wants to play in it with our son, I knew his feet would get wet. They're warm, but thin enough to wear under jeans (jeans get wet, feet and legs stay dry, unnoticeable around town). We tested them in snow in Montana with no problems. Much cheaper and easier to pack than a second pair of boots!

They kept my pant legs dry while we were out in the snow and best of all they stayed in place without me having to struggle to stay in place. I'm a small person, so I constantly struggle to keep my legs dry no matter how "short" I buy my jeans. I live in wet/dirty Northwest Oregon so I live in mud boots, but now I can use them in situations where mud boots are not ideal (e.g. horseback riding). Of course, if we ever get…
