I took them on a moose hunt, the first half of the week was COLD (18° one day). They kept my pant legs dry while we were out in the snow and best of all they stayed in place without me having to struggle to stay in place. I'm a small person, so I constantly struggle to keep my legs dry no matter how "short" I buy my jeans. I live in wet/dirty Northwest Oregon so I live in mud boots, but now I can use them in situations where mud boots are not ideal (e.g. horseback riding). Of course, if we ever get snow here, I'm going to hell use them!
