They will not fit 2013 BMW X5

They were "almost right". I have a 2013 BMW X5, will not purchase this product for this vehicle. They don't fit and require a lot of grinding to even work. It won't take that long considering what I had to do to make them fit. Made in China.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Approximately

Doesn't fit 2012 BMW X5

The filter is about 2mm shorter so it doesn't fit properly in the filter housing. As I bought the filters a while back and needed them now I cut the bottom ends of the filters 2mm short to allow them to seat properly in the housing. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Annoyed

Proper fit is best found in Air Filters and Accessories

later The filters have two ears on each end with a protrusion that needs to fit through a slot in the housing to hold them in place. The tabs on these filters are set back slightly so the filters cannot be locked in place. I had to install a screw through the housing and filter housing to hold them in place.

The quickest and easiest way to get filters for my car

So easy, just order and get notification from Revain that the filter is arriving a day early. Has anyone ever received a USPS package early or even on time? It's very easy to make sure it's the right filter for my car and when I can go back to my previous purchases it's easy to keep ordering.

Pros
  • Niche Best
Cons
  • Faulty

It's a cheap basic filter

Anyone who buys these filters knows that they are difficult to install and not because of the filters. This is a very simple filter, it does the job. I won't be buying another one though because I think there are better cabin air options for just a few bucks more. Activated charcoal removes odors etc much better. However, if you need a basic coal, the work does not look far-sighted.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Suitable, but no air direction arrow.

This filter was true to size and had activated carbon impregnated on one side of the filter. Unlike others I've bought, this one didn't have proper airflow through the filter. This is my first carbon filter and I don't know how to install it. After a quick search, the answers are broken down into charcoal first or last, and some say it doesn't matter. For me, this is clear overkill on the part of the manufacturer.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some nuances

The filter material is good; Poor Fit

These are good filters but they didn't fit my E70 X5 (2011) filter housing very well. They fit into a rectangular case on each side, but aren't exactly the right size, and the tabs stick out at one end or the other. It wasn't a positive fit. This was common enough with one of the new filters that I cleaned and reinstalled one of the old filters in its place. So I have now installed a new filter and an old, cleaned filter in my car. I expect a better fit for my $.

Not as good as OEM filter, 2 issues

This filter was for a 2018 Chevy Equinox. I thought I got a good deal, but I'd be better off spending a few bucks more on a branded filter. The first problem was that there was no arrow showing the direction of airflow. Most pleated filters have this, while multi-layer filters are designed for a specific direction of airflow. I should have read all the reviews as others have mentioned this as well. The second problem is that the OEM filter probably had twice as many pleats. The more folds the…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Probably not worth the money.

I took a risk with this purchase. It looked better in the picture than the others. But when it arrived I realized that maybe I had made a mistake. gift wrapping. They didn't even design any custom filter packaging as these 2 filters are just stuffed into a standard box which is too thin for the overall height. There's no documentation, I don't know or trust if it's activated charcoal, even if it says so somewhere. Although I looked at the filters everything seemed fine at first, but as soon as…
