I wanted to upgrade the band of my Timex Men's T2N647 Weekender and stopped there. It's stiffer and doesn't show signs of wear right away like the nylon strap on a Timex watch. Also, I wanted the black PVD coated rings so the band doesn't stand out as much. Would I buy again and am considering other colors from deBeer.

I bought the 20mm version of this watch band and it worked great on my Suunto Vector watch. The tape was too big but I cut it off by cutting between the 2nd and 3rd hole leaving two holes on the cut piece. I was able to trim the end properly by taking the cut piece and lining up its two holes with the holes in the tape using it as a template to round off the end. I have several nylon watch straps and this one is slightly thicker than a regular watch strap. A bit bumpy at the beginning, but picks up speed quickly. I love the all black design and it also contrasts nicely with the white dial I usually wear with it. Although it's a bit thicker, it doesn't feel any different on the wrist. It feels light and comfortable as I've worn it all day. It doesn't have an extra strap that some NATO straps have, but that doesn't really bother me. It feels strong yet…
