We use this citric acid three ways at home and it works great. We have hard water and all three uses help reduce the damage caused by hard water residue. First, we use it in the dishwasher as a direct replacement for Lemi-Shine. It works just as well to prevent hard water stains on dishes for 1/4 the cost. Use in the same amount as Lemi-Shine.
