    Carefree travel!

Because I make a living as a driver and drive a company car that I don't maintain myself, this tool has become so important! They know when something is wrong, and if the car doesn't have a pressure gauge, the few dollars it cost me gives me the peace of mind that I can check tire pressures without going off route! The only person you can trust to get accurate tire pressures is yourself, which is why this tool has become an essential part of my daily work! I either keep it in my work bag or…

Didn't know what I was missing.

I bought this gauge because it is highly rated, it's made in the USA, it doesn't require batteries, and it's very reasonably priced. I'm very glad I did. There is a small collar around the air intake, almost like a fountain, that helps align the device so it fits snugly against the tire valve. This makes pressure measurement much easier. I have an old gauge that doesn't have that collar around the air intake. Sometimes I had to fiddle and lose air before I could properly install it on the valve

Good quality tire and wheel tools

I only got this today but already love it. Feels heavier and better built than the super cheap ones. The steering angle is better too, I'd say closer to 50-60 degrees compared to 35-45 degrees on the cheaper ones. This is useful for checking hard-to-reach motorcycle/bicycle tires. At first I thought the reading was far off, but then I realized it was reading in pounds of pressure. So it reads 30, then 35, then 40. The cheaper ones read two psi per tick and they read 30,40,50 so this gauge is…

Just buy the correct Milton and skip the discount gauges

Hoping to save a few bucks I ordered a set of 4 tire gauges from a different brand to ensure that every car and everyone showroom she has. Tank bags for every motorcycle. They looked like the Milton gauges I've used in the past and I assumed they would be about the same. INCORRECT! They were all plastic and looked like a cheap plastic ballpoint pen. Milton gauges (don't forget to check the pressure ranges and choose the one that suits your needs) are made of metal and feel solid and durable. I…

Quality gauge for tools and equipment

I've had the same tire stick gauge for about 28 years. About a year ago I used it and it broke. I went ahead and bought a replacement which was a Slime brand pressure gauge made in China. I usually try to avoid manufacturing in China if I can, but I needed a scale and the store only carried these, and I didn't want to drive across town because of the $4 gauge. This mucus seemed surprisingly worse than the ones I've had over the years. It was made from lightweight materials and gave inconsistent
