Review on Accurate and Reliable Milton (S-921) Single Chuck ๐Ÿ“ Head Pencil Tire Pressure Gauge - Ideal for Passenger Cars by Jeremy Edwards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality gauge for tools and equipment

I've had the same tire stick gauge for about 28 years. About a year ago I used it and it broke. I went ahead and bought a replacement which was a Slime brand pressure gauge made in China. I usually try to avoid manufacturing in China if I can, but I needed a scale and the store only carried these, and I didn't want to drive across town because of the $4 gauge. This mucus seemed surprisingly worse than the ones I've had over the years. It was made from lightweight materials and gave inconsistent readings when I checked the same tire again. I thought they were all like that now and was mostly satisfied for $4. A year later the sensor broke and I needed a new one. Instead of stopping at the nearest store and buying one, I checked out the Revain and realized it was made in America. I received and used the sensor and am delighted. It's a tank versus a slime sensor. For sale metal structure and it seems to be the same as the one I had 28 years ago. Readings are consistent too, and it's only a dollar or two more than buying a crappy plastic pressure gauge. I usually prefer to wait at least 6 months before leaving a review to make sure the product I'm reviewing doesn't fail, but I'm pretty confident it will last another 20 or 30 years based on the quality of this sensor this one will last. replacement required.
